Day One drive complete. We went through the lovely Burns, OR, and the lovelier Vail, OR, through Boise and Twin Falls, ID, and now we're enjoying a night at my friends' house in Roy, UT. It was 47' when we left and rainy all through Oregon, but then warmed up to around 70' in Idaho and was clear for the rest of the drive. It also took a few hours longer than we expected, probably because of the trailer. Otherwise uneventful, which is good. (Check out our ugly beaver mascot -- thanks Jenn for that special, special Ikea gift).
Tomorrow Albuquerque!
